## Plug in, launch, connect

Surplus diagnostic laptops often arrive missing software, licenses or cables. Our kits ship configured for the platform you choose.

- Setup help and 60 days of telephone troubleshooting from delivery

“All cables and hardware” means everything the configuration you buy needs, not every cable for every vehicle.

Two tiers

## SEME kit or VADS kit

Both tiers use a similar software package. The difference is the hardware.

What goes on a kit depends on the platform you choose and the systems on your truck.

CAT Electronic Technician

Caterpillar engine ECMs: fault codes, live data and supported tests.

Allison DOC

Allison transmission controls.

WABCO Toolbox

WABCO ABS and braking systems.

Bendix

Bendix ABS on platforms that use it.

Dana diagnostic applications

Supported Dana and Spicer systems, such as CTIS controllers.

Niehoff software

Niehoff alternators and charging systems.

EMS-NG viewer

Opens the electronic technical manual package included with the kit.

Multi-module scan utility

Scans supported modules on the truck in one pass.

Configurations are available for nearly every mass-produced military ground-vehicle family used from 1996 onward. Exact coverage is verified for each kit.

### What a kit can and cannot do

Depending on the platform and installed modules, a kit can read fault codes, show live data and run supported tests on engine, transmission, ABS, CTIS and charging systems.

**Reading is not programming.** A kit that reads a module may not be able to program, calibrate or command it. If you need a specific function, tell us before you order and we will confirm it for your truck.

Warranty and support

## 60 days of help, starting the day it arrives

Summary of the limited configuration warranty that comes with SEME and VADS kits.

Period

60 calendar days from the date the computer is delivered to you.

What we warrant

The kit matches the hardware and configuration in your order, and our configuration work covers the vehicle, adapter, applications and functions named in the sale.

Telephone help

Reasonable help with setup, connection, launching the software and using the configuration you bought, at no labor charge. Calls are arranged through your order.

Fixes

If a problem traces back to our configuration or assembly, we correct it without a labor charge during the 60 days.

Not covered

Vehicle-side faults, damage after delivery, software or settings changed by the user, functions outside the configuration sold, and a free replacement computer.

After 60 days

Support and configuration work are billed at our shop rate. We quote first and wait for your approval.

The complete written limited warranty is available on request before you buy.

## How a kit order goes

1. **Choose the platform**
   
   Pick it in the store, or ask us if you are not sure which configuration fits.
2. **We configure and test**
   
   Software, adapter and cables are set up for that platform.
3. **The kit ships**
   
   Delivery starts the 60-day warranty and support period.
4. **We help you connect**
   
   Telephone help for setup and first use, arranged through your order.
